Mechanism
Mechanism of Student Grievance Redressal Cell
A compliant box is provided at the ground floor for students.
All grievances referred to the Grievance Redressal committee shall be entered in a Register by designated member.
All complaints should be resolved within a time frame by looking into its seriousness and by two-way approach.
The result of the grievance will be informed to the complainant within the period defined.
Any staff may report directly to the principal/Director for resolving their grievance if he/she is dissatisfied by the GRC.
Objectives of Student Grievance Redressal Cell
To uphold the dignity of the college by ensuring strife free atmosphere in the college through promotion of cordial student-student relationship and student-teacher relationship etc.
To provide responsive, accountable and easily accessible machinery for settlement of grievances and to take measures in the college undertakings to ensure expeditious settlement of grievances of students in order to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute.
It is to deal with the complex situation in a tactful manner to lessen the condition felt to be oppressive or dissatisfied.
Encouraging the students to express their grievances/problems freely and frankly, without any fear of being victimized.
Advising students of the college to respect the right and dignity of one another and how utmost restraint and patience whenever any occasion of rift arises.
Advising all the students to refrain from inciting students against other students, teachers and college administration.
Advising all staffs to be affectionate to the students and not behave in a vindictive manner towards any of them for any reason.
To support, those students who have been deprived of the services offered by the college, for which he/she is entitled.
To make officials of the college responsive, accountable and courteous in dealing with the students.
Roles and Responsibilities of Student grievance and redressal cell
To enlighten the students on their duties and responsibilities to access benefits due to under the policies.
To establish structured interactions with students to elicit information on their expectations.
An aggrieved student who has any grievances at the Programme level shall make an application first to the Programme Coordinator/Class Coordinator/ Mentor as the case may be.
The institution provides mechanism to the students for redressal of their grievances with regard to their complaints on academic and non-academic matters. On approval, the final decision would be communicated to the student through the concerned Head of the Institute.
Objectives of Objectives of Internal Complaint Committee/Women’s Grievance Redressal Cell/ Gender Sensitization Cell
To generate the awareness in regard to equality in law and social system and democratic activities.
To make younger boys and girls gender sensitive and creative positive values that support the girls and their rights
To create the healthy environment among the students (girls) ladies staff members
To do the women empowerment in order to expand the social and economic growth and promote the social development.
Roles and Responsibilities of Internal Complaint Committee/Women’s Grievance Redressal Cell/ Gender Sensitization Cell
Call periodic meetings of members as per requirements.
Identify the cases of sexual harassment in the institute and surface them for appropriate action against such cases and maintain the working environment free and transparent.
Maintain the meetings and action taken report in the meeting register time to time.
Organize guidance sessions for all concern about objectives, composition and functions of the cell.
Organize the seminars, webinars for students regarding awareness of health, diseases and stress management.
Organize the seminars or guest lecturers for awareness of gender equality in the students as well as faculties.
Establish transparent mechanism to rectify any kind of complaints from the students, teaching faculty and from members of support staff. This will help to build transparency and cultivate democratic values.
Evolve working mechanism in consultation with the head of institute. Refer guidelines issued by AICTE/MSBTE
