Shri Vasantrao Banduji Patil trust is the outcome of the hard efforts of the eminent social worker of Sangli, Late Shri. Appasaheb Birnale (Ex MLA and Ex. President Z.P., Sangli.) in the year 1971, in the memory of Sahakar Maharshi and Ex. Chief Minister of Maharashtra Late Padmabhushan Shri. Vasantrao Dada Patil for his contribution as a great freedom fighter and his revolutionary policies of uplifting and widening in the field of education and for their matchless services to humanity and mankind.
The main idea behind this trust was to part the professional, advanced and technical education to the deserving, needy students from the interior and village region.
This institute is highly indebted to sanguine efforts and constant inspiration of Shri. Babanrao Appasaheb Birnale, Ex – Chairman of the trust.
